I'm looking to accumulate parts and such. Is there a difference in the body of a non-tremolo strat and one that originally came with one? I want to put together a Strat without a trem.

^yes. you don't need the tremolo cavity, and the spring cavity. it will look like a telecaster from underneath the tremolo.

So if I want a non-trem can I still use a trem body or will there be gaps or spaces?
