i have now been playing guitar for around 7 months now, electric for only around 1. anyways i started with an acoustic/electric tv offer thing for Christmas, and it came with this pretty crappy 12w "esteban" amp.

anyways i was thinking about getting a new amp, either the roland microcube, or the vox valvetronix 15w. i was going to try out the microcube at my local shop soon, but i just want your opinions. i have a standard strat and love clapton, classic rock, blues. also SRV jimi, blue oyster cult, some KISS.

so which do you think would suit my needs more. any advice appreciated.

PS. this is for jamming in my house, with buds, no gigs.

the vox does your tones better than the cube could...

and yeah, if you're gonna be playing with drums, get the 30watt version.

Yup the Vox will definatly do what your looking for. But you should go with the 30 wat versin if you feel you need it
