This wednesday, I'm going to audition for the school play. I wasn't actually planning to do it but I got some positive feedback from my classmates about improvisationexercices we did in class. Now I don't want to do any improvisation on the audition, but I don't seem to get a decent idea to perform.

Has anyone of you got an idea for something I could perform for the audition?

I mostly play own song, but I was thinking about a verbal thing, since it's a school play (which needs acting)

For our school plays, we have to act out something from the play we're gonna do... I'm auditioning for Midsummer Night's Dream on Wednesday, and I'll have to read a monologue from that.

How about getting something from Shakespeare? Good luck, whatever you choose!

no we have to do something of our own, so that they can choose who'll fit the part, I'd rather do something from the actual script but thats just the way it is

it's going to be quite serious with a bit of hard cynic humor
