Ok I know the difference between single coils and humbuckers but can any one explain p-90s and p-100 pickups, also this might be a little bit much but if you can can you provide a sound example cause maybe I will be able to hear the difference.

P-90s are like an in-between, quite twangy but not as much as a single coil and fatter sounding than a single coil too, try searching youtube for P-90 and see what you get.

p-90s are still single coil pickups but have a fatter and deeper tone, usually used for blues or jazz. p-100s...never heard of 'em.

ok thanks, when I was at a guitar store the other day the salesmen was saying that he just bought a custom sg that had p-100s on it, and I was wondering what those were.
