what makes the biggest difference in a guitars tone? the wood, pickups, strings, neck joint, or bridge?

well, everything does. but i would go with the pickups and strings.

also the amps make a huge difference too

It's really hard for me to pick... I really think pickups are tied with wood.

I voted wood for lack of doing both pups and wood.

If you use a ****ty block of oak you aren't going to get a sound from that guitar.

If you use some corroded steel magnetized bar as a pup... the guitar is going to sound like ass...
