what is the best gauge for pinch harmonics, i tune anything from drop D to standard 2 steps down

There is no "best gauge" for pinch harmonics. If you can't do them well with the strings you have, they won't sound any better with any different gauge.

thats what i thought, but i got a new schecter hellraiser avenger and the harmonics fly out of this thing, i know the EMG's make a huge difference but my other guitar has the Zakk Wylde set and the harmonics arent as good. i want to change the gauge on my hellraiser but if it comes in the way of the pinch harmonics then ill just deal with it,
