Is this guitar good for a beginner like myself? I mainly liked the price, but I don't wanna get it if it's not a decent guitar. If it's not a good one what is, that is in a similar price range? http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Epiphone-LP100-Electric-Guitar?sku=518661
also what's a good amp to get?

Is that guitar better then the Special 2?

well i don't really have a genre, i like everything and I'm not good enough yet to really focus on one thing, so I'd be playing anything from heavy metal songs to classic rock songs. I havn't really found a specific genre I'd like to play. And as for price no more than $250 for the guitar as I'm low on cash and am not too serious about it yet, and as for the amp I want one that's doesn't sound like crap but isn't over 200 bucks
