i sometimes get shocked and i feel it, i recently moved my guitar to my basement and have it pluged into a electrical strip w. like 5 other plugs goin too.. but i had that plugged the same thing before and it was fine then.

can anyone tell me why

He means the amp.

Is your amp old? If it is, it might only have two silver things on the plug, and they are going the wrong way. You can fix this by plugging it in the opposite way, or by flipping the polarity switch on your amp.

If not that, Im not sure what it could be.
