I just got my new bass (SRX705) and noticed that on the neck there are these weird white lines that vertically on the neck. Its something in the wood and looks like its either dry or something else. Any idea? (and no its not the fret lines, in case you felt like being an ass)

Pictures?

Could it just be a design of your Bass? Post some pictures so we can get some ideas.

But really... there's no cookie. And if there was, you wouldn't get one.

Oh, Grease? They shouldn't be too big right? It's just a little dirt in there, clean it out.
