So yeah, I was dicking around today and randomly got the strongest urge to go play some old nostalgic video games that I played as a kid. Fortunately, emulators are the shiznit. Post some of your favorite old video games (and if you can find one, a picture with it). I'll start.

Monkey Island I and II:

Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis:

Beneath a Steel Sky:

Gunstar Heroes:

The Dig (personal favorite, still can't find the damn disc it came on):

Now post your favorites

Flashback. Man that was one sweet game!

There was another game of the same genre as Monkey Island (point and click), but I've forgotten the name.....

The character had alien eggs planted in his brain, and only had 24 hours to figure out how to save himself. If anyone knows what this was called, let me know!

Chaos Engine - top down shooting awesomeness!

Pooping is well good though, to be fair.

I've got a handle on the fiction.

I'm losing my grip, 'cos I'm losing my fingers.

Hmmm, I don't think I remember any point and click games like that, although you did just remind me of another game that I dearly miss: The Neverhood. Damn that was a good game...too bad I still have never been able to find a place to download it (or The Dig for that matter).

In school, they told me, "Practice makes perfect". Then they said, "Nobody's perfect", so I quit practicing.

Monkey Island FTW!
I completed the first 3 a few months ago (as well as when I was a child)

The fourth one was a bit of a let down though.

So I, with a broomstick(Just in case) walk right where they can see me and I said:

"You kids ever taken a broom up the ass?"

The look on their face was priceless, and they ran, and I mean ran like a bat out of hell.

You gotta admit, it was fun in multiplayer, especially with 3 or 4 people.

I spent soooo long looking for the game. Eventually, I finally got it, but then the CD broke 2 years later. So I'm fuxxored. Can't find it anywhere now...

That's why abandonware exists ^_^
I can't recall how much times I passed Indiana Jones & The Fate Of Atlantis, or Monkey Island II.

God bless the almighty dosbox and emulators.
