Wow. There I was like most of you, thinking Rick Astley was just one of those lame 80's pop artists, then I saw this video...it's actually quite amazing.

Check out the guitarist, and the drummer, they might seem familiar to you.

No doubt, Rick Astley has a hell of a voice.

So, has this always been a country song, or did he just change it?

Also, Rick Rolls are out, Nomi rolls are in.

Nah, he's not gay. It's just some stupid thing they decided to say on Family Guy. He's got a wife and a daughter, and if you see an interview with him, he's not flamboyant in any way.

Now i can't decide which is better,
Klaus Nomi-Lighting Strikes
or
Stump-Buffalo

Haha, that's tight. Especially the fish part.

I'm still gonna have to go with Nomi, mainly because Nomi's got comments full of people saying Nomi was the greatest genious to happen to there generation.

Is it odd that I'm really enjoying listening to this Kaus Nomi guy for more than the shock factor?

Rick Astley is gay?

They were probably just joking.

No, but Klaus Nomi was. He was actually one of the first celebrities to die from AIDS. He was quite talented, if a bit bizarre. His falsetto was very, very good.

Pfft, screw Klaus Nomi, it's all about Rick Astley.

Seriously, Astley has some really good music, check out "The Ones You Love". I think I'm gonna go pick up one of his albums on the weekend.

It would be awesome to meet Rick Astley. We would smile at each other for a brief moment then I would shake his hand. I imagine him having a firm handshake.

I agree. It was just plain creepy. I don't think it would have been as bad if he didn't regularly break into an operatic falsetto for the chorus. Only King Diamond and Matt Bellamy are supposed to hit those notes.

Klaus Nomi is so cool.
I felt like a monster reincarnation of Horatio Alger......a man on the move and just sick enough to be totally confident.
