i heard gibson makes some pretty good %'s, and they are pretty reasonably priced to.

for me, the hardest instrument to play is the tops of my buddies' cars. they are always out of tune, and you can't tune them without a torch.

Easier than guitar? Dream on.

Guitar is actually very simplistic compared to woodwinds.

You can learn to play a good solid note on guitar in a day's practice, try doing that on a bass clarinet with no prior woodwind experience.

The isnt the hardest instrument, * is the hardest instrument. Look how little, and it has 3842304958734065304 octaves.

Meh.

I am not a huge fan of %s.

Personally I would much rather go all out on a ¿,
it has better tone I am not a big fan on how the % plays.

Seriously though,
have you ever heard the tone on a ¿?

By the way,
to help you with your tuning problem,
I have heard that you can use a hammer instead of the torch method.

i see what you and the guy below you are saying, but i was in middle school band and i know that almost anyone can be pretty decent any band instrument in about 2 or 3 years. totally different story with guitars. to be accepted as good at guitar, way more time will need to be put into it.

follow? but i think both sides of this argument are pretty true on some points.

you and your new fangled ¿'s. i have heard them, a guy down the street plays one and it sounds like ****e.

as for the tuning tip tho, thx. ill try that next time. how do i get it to go sharp or flat, or is it an experimental thing as all cars are different?

hmmm,
yes well it is one of those things that you have to get reaally good at before a decent tone starts to show it's face,
so he probably is just not that good yet.

And as for the tuning....
there is an equation you can find online.

I would tell you but it escapes me at the moment.

All I remember is that it has something to do with the size and shape of the car as well as what type of hammer is being used.....
other then that I have completely forgotten.

Just google it.

you should upload a file of you playing yours.

and is the equation empirical or is there a proof behind it that im just missing? cuz i tried working through a few proofs and i couldn't get it to work out right. i always had a leftover speed factor in there.

btw, i think im gonna run down to the local shop and get a . it sounds like it would be fun to try and play. maybe we could upload some music for it on here somewhere?

I play all three quite well, guitar is the hardest. Bass is the easiest. This is based in my experience and also keep in mind I learned guitar first.
