I was just browsing my song library and I found that some bands would really go out of their way to try and makes songs sound as epic as possible before the song even started, with the title. Bands like Rhapsody (of Fire) and even Bodom had some pretty cool song titles.

Notables:

Mystic Prophecy of the Demonknight, Power of the Dragonflame, and Holy Thunderforce by Rhapsody

Triple Corpse Hammerblow by (clearly) CoB

The Mighty Doors of the Speargod's Hall by Amon Amarth.

Doesn't have to be metal, it's jsut all I could find at the time.

Not a song but... Oh Me Oh My The Way The Day Goes By The Sun Is Setting Dogs Are Dreaming Lovesongs Of The Christmas Spirit by Devendra Banhart.

Those first ones do very little to combat the metal stereotype. Do y'all not get tired of vikings and dragons and fire and whatnot?

I don't get tired of thematic bands if that's what you're asking. But all this "epicness" is the most cheesy thing ever, and I really prefer bands that stay a little closer to real life.
