I searched and i only found a thread about all you 7 stringers on UG. SO!...

Anyone know some incredible 7 string guitarists? I'm a huge nevermore fan, so i know about loomis. Other then that it's a straight 6 in my itunes library. Suggest me some new music manes!

Meshuggah's old stuff. They now use 8-strings.

Mushroomhead, Korn, Staind, Nevermore, and Dream Theater.

I also suggest the band Redemption. If you love Nevermore and Jeff Loomis's stuff, you'll love this band. They are more on the side of progressive rather than metal. But Nick Van Dyk can play the 7 string nearly as good as John Petrucci of Dream Theater.

Rusty Cooley is the only one you need.

John Petrucci is the man you want to listen to! Some songs on his solo album use a seven string, along with alot of dream theater songs (a change of seasons is my favourite song, so naturally my favourite song played on a 7 string too lmao).
