No warlock thread.

Put up the defenses before the B.C.Rich bashers get here...

I love my warlock though. Its chipped at the points but it plays beautifully and looks excellent at the same time

Good luck finding alot of people, the BC rich warlock isnt a highly respected guitar.

My friend insisted on getting it with the 90 dollar coffin case *sigh* with the price of the case and guitar he could have had a nice Epiphone.

And I don't like your name ... Punk owns.

And I am not a hater, I just believe there are better guitars for the price..

I had a warlock before i got into acosutic music. I still have it today and i still think its awesome. Whether people like it or not the style of it is awesome. It works great for playing metal and if you get a good one it sounds pretty decent to.

if i had the money i would buy one

not because they're good, just so i could go 'ROOOOOAR '

click on warlock in my sig for a bigger pic

That's awesome

Warlocks are actually good guitars, the 80s ones just play so well and are so ****ing awesome, you can't really talk trash about those. Today's aren't as good quality, but the higher end Platinum and SE series are just as good as the 80s, there may be better guitars for the price, but there's no denying the fact that they're still good guitars.

I think so, Brain, but where would we buy rubber pants at this hour?

well, to be honest, it doesn't hold a candle to my explorers. The neck edges have kind of a hard feel to them. neck dives pretty fast, the whole thing is heavy as a tank. But I learned how to play on that guitar so it'll always be special to me in some way. It has a nice wicked sound under heavy gain but compared to what I play now, it's just darned uncomrfortable. Looks really neat though

The lower end Warlocks aren't my favorite guitars, but I love the high end ones. ^The platinum is a great guitar. I still think BC Rich is more for looks though, so you would have to pretty much redo all the electronics on the low-end ones to get a good sound. Still not bad guitars though.

if anybody prefers a bc rich (less than 500 pounds say) to a les paul standard i'd love to meet them
theres no comparison even if you're not a big fan of les pauls
the cheap production bc richs are imo rubbishly made with bad materials and hardware

i'd actually like to try one of the handmade bc richs though, they look really nice

eh, the metal master and bronze are pretty bad guitars(no offence to anyone).

every metal master I've tried has such a bad neck I wouldn't even both trying to do anything on it for fear of splinters..

and behold my warlock!

2007 Rich's are decent. Otherwise, the only other ones I would play are the U.S. ones made by Rico. I have a shop an hour away that sell Rico's, and I have always been ready to buy just in case.

I would take a pre-1990 Warlock to ANY Les Paul ANY day. uggggg I hate Les Pauls.

Heavy as ****
Hard as hell to play past the 17th fret.
Rediculously Overpriced.
Retarded switch and knob configuration.

I'll take an SG please.
