You're right.

Axl Rose
Slash
Duff McKagen
Izzy Stradlin
Dave Grohl

And Steve Adler is a terrible drummer IMO. GNR's one of my three favorite bands, but Adler's quoted as saying that he kept beat by looking at Slash's foot. They have the opposite problem that Nirvana did; Nirvana had ****ty muscians but an amazing drummer, while GNR had amazing musicians and a ****ty drummer...

talking about todays supergroup

Oh man, I'd go with:

Neil Young (vox/guitars)
Kim Mitchell (Vox/guitars)
Geddy Lee(Bass)

Not so sure about Canadian drummers besides Neil Peart(whom is amazing) so I guess I'd throw him intro the mix too.

no adler was not ****ty, in fact GNR would not be the same without him, and hes better than Sorum. Just listen to Sorum playing AFD song live, its sound so horrible. Sorum may have better technical skills than Adler, but GNR isnt proggressive rock.

Pree sure it's cello there, buddy. But anyway...

(I tried to stick to people that are actually still alive, with the exception of Mike Brecker.)
Pat Metheny
Keith Jarrett
Antonio Sanchez
John Patitucci
Michael Brecker
Cuong Vu (based in the USA, ha!)
Dave Douglas
Kenny Garrett
Tiger style.

Mike Sullivan- Guitar
Trevor de Brauw- Guitar
Bryant Clifford Meyer- Guitar
Troy Sanders- Bass (I know he's not in a post metal band, but he fits well)
Dave Turncrantz- Drums

No vocals. All instrumental.

Maybe Troy can do some screams here and there, but no real lyrics.

You're right.

I literally have no clue what I was thinking. I was trying to think of another singer I like, and he popped into my head. *sigh* lol
I'm a tard.

American singer... Are there any good ones? =P

I can't think of an American singer I'd put with them... lol When I originally said LaBrie I was just going for Dream Theater as a whole because he said supergroup from your country... And Dream Theater started in Boston, and LaBrie flew down to join them... So I just considered it an American band. =(

I need sleep. And to calm down from the Led Zeppelin announcement .lol

Chris Cornell, I used to like a lot more.

The other two, I forgot about. I'd considered Myles Kennedy . . . but in the end decided to go with Schuylar Croom. There was none better than him before he was an idiot and wore his voice out.
