The acoustic I have now is a washburn lyon that you can buy at Target and its not very good. The frets aren't very smooth and the strings are hard to push down. I'm thinking about getting a new acoustic guitar. Any recommendations for getting a new acoustic for around 500 American?
well seagulls are good, but their ar ealso many other good guitars for that price. look at takamine, blueridge, alvarez, washburn, ibanez, yamaha, and just about anything in your range. when i buy an acoustic, i dont look at the headstock, but judge soley on playability, sound and condition of the guitar.
I just picked up a Guild GAD-40C on sale for $550 and it's the best sounding and easiest playing acoustic I have ever played.
Save up a little more and get a Taylor 110.
