I have to say I just started seriously getting into Corrosion of Conformity but they are one of the best bands I have ever heard.....They have the ability to just jump from genre to genre and still sound amazing....so show some love for them.....if you dont know them....look um up on youtube......great rock and roll

They're a pretty old band, eh?

Anyways, I used to listen to CoC, but not very much anymore - never really liked them all too much.

In the Arms of God is one of the most Metal songs ever made.

CoC are awesome, I prefer Deliverance and onwards to their earlier Crossover stuff.

SO if Janne and Alexi did a gay porn, would I be the only one willing to buy it?

That's a dumb question, you know everyone in here would buy it too. I know I would!

Man, I love CoC, they are one of the best bands. I've seen 'em twice, once w/ Motorhead and once on a headline tour w/ Alabama Thunderpussy. They play so well live, and I love Pepper's voice. It's a lot like Hetfield's '90's voice. Deliverence is a great album, but I always like Wiseblood the most. Every song on Wiseblood is way better than anything anyone here will ever write. AVD was also really good, but kinda suffered in some parts too... a little bit too soft in some parts. In The Arms of God was probably in the Top 5 albums of 2005 for me, right along with Ghost Reveries and Nightmares Made Flesh. I also really like Blind, but that the only one of their older albums I've really liked. EFAE and Technocracy weren't that impressive to me. Pepper defines CoC.

fastcore = crossover? Never heard that term before. I like all their era's except Blind and AVD kinda sucked too. Blind probably would have been great if Pepper sang on all the songs.

^ Maybe, but Karl's voice was cool too and he had some really awesome politically aware lyrics

Nice reply to a two year old post. Newest release I heard from the band was America's Volume Dealer, which was horrible.

Still need the rest of their discography.

This.

By coincidence I'm listening to Deliverance right now.
