Ok here is the intro of wish you were here by pinkfloyd

-------------------------3-3-3------------3---
-----------------3--3---3-3-3-------3---3---
-----------------0--0---0-0-0--0---0-------
-------0--2----------------------2----------
--0h2---------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------

now my question is, how important is it to hit every note as wriiten. Now I know its outlining an Em7 chord but must I hit every note of the strumming bit like that, or is it more important to keep the time. This is how it is written in the official tab book(roughly) and I was wondering what you would do.
radiantmoon is the toughest person I know. He inflects a sense of impending doom upon any who look upon his stone-chiseled face. The children run out of fear, while the men run for they know that the stories are true.

its a G chord.

add the G on the E string (3rd fret)
playing the 0h2 0 2

and then I just strum the 3 lower strings all togheter with the rhtym

it actually starts on the A note and the second time round starts on the g. and the first chord is Em7

If you strum the other notes in Em7 too, and keep the time it would sound similar.
It's more important to keep rhythm and chords then exact notes.
