No westerns sound good to me Rent one of them dodgy Asian movies with subtitles and bad syncing, and really crap sword fighting

Pardners.

Its kind of a comedy western with Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis, but it is still awesome.
#4
"A Fistful of Dollars", "For a Few Dollars More" and "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly". All classic.
#5
Once Upon A Time In The West and Fist Full Of Dollars/For A Few Dollars More/Good, Bad, Ugly 'trilogy'.

The Unforgiven is one of the best westerns ever made. It's another Clint one from 2000.

Check out Once Upon a Time In The West too.

All of Sergio Leone's westerns. They have all been mentioned except 'A Fistful of Dynamite'. Watch that, it gets forgotten but it's one of his best imo. It is about the Mexican revolution.

Others:

The Great Silence
Wild Bunch
Unforgiven
The Big Gundown
A Bullet for the General
The Magnificent Seven

Unforgiven is amazing my favourite Clint movie.

''Hell of a thing killin' a man, take away all he's got, all he's ever gonna have''

''Well I guess he had it comin'.

We all got it comin' kid''

Just to be a little different, Dead Man from Jim Jarmusch is not a Western persay, but definitly has the same kind of gritty feel to it. Plus it's in gorgeous black and white, the soundtrack was written by Neil Young and Iggy Pop makes a cameo in a dress.

I won't spoil it for the TS, but that line in the final shootout about what he'll do if anyone tries to stop him is gold.

Another western with a man in a dress: Brando in The Missouri Breaks.
