Search bar is broken, so if there is allready is one, please excuse me.

I've been sick these last few days. So watching this brilliant series over again has kept me entertained

I figured this show is so fantastic that it needed it's own thread! So, what is you favourite character? Episode? Season? Anything that you'd want to discuss goes here

Just finished watching the "Communication problems / The Psychiatrist" episode. I was in tears towards the end, the genius that is John Cleese is just awestriking.

I love that show.

Also the Waldorf Salad episode. I love it how Basil is so rude.

John Cleese is truly a genius.

Hit this once or twice, and you'll be twice as nice.

The Germans was great though I preferred the one with a Waldorf Salad. I can't remember the name though.

It is named: The Waldorf salad.

I must agree just finished watching it (seen it so many times before) and it's a brilliant episode.

Didm't they try to make a US version of this show once, but without Basil being a complete bastard? It goes without saying that it tanked.

That's my personal favourite.

His rant at the end is nothing short of spectacular.

It's right up there for me to. The rant at the end had my lying on the floor teary eyed the first time I heard it...

I vaguely remember a rant by basil over the tone of both the Burglar and Fire alarm.

"I should let you all burn...!!!"

haha amazing TV, they really dont make things like that anymore.

"Right. Well, obviously if there was a fire you would all be standing down here like this, right here in the lobby. Wouldn't you? I don't know why we bother. We should let you all burn."

Great episode. They all were though. His goostepping in that episode is legendary.

Oh God I love Fawlty Towers. John Cleese is simply wonderful.
The will to neither strive nor cry,
The power to feel with others give.
Calm, calm me more; nor let me die
Before I have begun to live.

I'm a big fan of the "Corpse and the Kippers" episode.

Also, has anyone ever noticed that there's a pointless three or four steps up stairs in the hotel that go right up and then right back down again? Or the sign outside next door that's different every episode?
