okay
so i play mostly death metal and stuff like that
im buying a half stack soon but im not really sure what brand to go for
marshall has a lot of great amps but i am told that marshall dont have have too much power in them
so i was wondering if you guys would help me with the brands that
would be good for playing my type of music

i play everything from deathmetal to shred to punk and i play an 5150 but yeterday i played a mesa and it fuking killed the 5150

if you want brands then really theres: diezel, krank, mesa, peavey, randall would do you some quality half stacks in the high gain field of manufacturers

the only thing about mesas is they are really really really expensive the 1 i was playing was a tube halfstack and it was like $2500

The only Crate worth looking into IMO is the Blue Voodo, but its a very different sound, or so I'm told, so definately a try before you buy.

Also, do you really need a half stack?

What is your price range?

I think the 5150 is the best, or a 6505/+.

im goin for somthin cheap that will get the job done for a year
then im gunna buy something bigger and better next year
cuz im gunna be playing shows soon
so i need a amp fast
so im lookin at used amps at guitarcenter
