when I play hard for extended periods of time my forearm really starts to kill me, fretting when I'm on electric and both when I'm doing acoustic. Do you guys think this period passes, it only really happens when I play for a really long time but it still is annoying. It feels like the muscles are dead in my forearm and I can't even hold a glass of milk.

If you have a weak grip or pains in your forearm, you should go to the doctors and get it checked out. I got ****ed over and have minor CT in both hands, so im seeing the doctor next monday, I'd advise you to go see a specialist as well =)

EDIT: If your muscles just feel like theyve been overworked, just take a break for a week. It will give your arms and hands time to heal up and when you come back you'll be refreshed and be able to play easier. Ive done it before, it works

it's more like muscle strains, I've had CT and ligament damage in my shoulder, elbow and wrist. This feels completely different.

Nevertheless, visiting a doctor couldn't hurt.
He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt.
He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would fully suffice.

Remember: A prudent question is one half of wisdom.

Its an endurance thing most likly. Just dont play for such extended periods of time. When it starts to hurt, stop. You'll eventually get your strenght up. But if its after a short period of time i advise you see a doctor.
