What's your favorite constellation and why? I've always been fond of Orion ever since watching Men in Black, lol. I also think the 7 Sisters (I don't know if that's the actual name of the constellation) is pretty cool because of the lore surrounding it.

i've actually always been a fan of Orion myself, also. When i was a kid my mom used to point it out and yeah. then i saw it on Men in Black and that made me happy.

Can you tell me where I can find that one? What other constellations is it near. Ahhh, if you can't tell me then I'll just look it up.

I want to see the Southern Cross.

Then I can play one of my favorite Dio-Sabbath songs, The Sign Of the Southern Cross, while stargazing.

the Pleiades are a star cluster in the constellation of Taurus

the only 2 constellations I know how to find are Orion and and Ursa Major (to then find Polaris)

Orion for me. I guess cos its the only one i can really make out that looks like what it's supposed to. Most of the other ones that are easy to see are like cassiopeia that doesn't really look like much (except a sideways W) or the plough, which is a bit boring and looks like a frying pan.
