have you tried the screamer and blackmore too? if you play anything other than t3h br00talz, those'd be better, IMO. In fact I prefer the blackmore for high gain too; but then again i do play 80's metal more than very modern death metal.

EDIT: also, at that price range you have several other non-engl options. if you're willing to buy off thomann or similar, the koch twintone may be worth considering, if you can find one to try (there are a few english dealers, not many though). Laney tt and vh100r would also be worth a try, and the marshall jvm. probably a few others I've missed.

personal preference, as usual, but as long as you aren't paying £200 for a train ticket, it doesn't really hurt to try stuff.
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.
