...for my Jackson guitar (bought it used and it has random no name p/u's). I play through a line 6 flextone II XL (def better than spiders) so Im assuming the pickups don't matter as much if I don't play through a tube amp. Hopefully I'll eventually get one. Are there better pickups for solid states. I am def looking for good ones for metal, fav bands being cryptopsy, severed savior, blood red throne, gorod... you get the point.

I already play emgs on the hellraiser, which are amazing, and won't hesitate to put them in my jackson as well if noone recommends anything else. Thanks.

You could try a JB/Jazz combo instead. I find them a lot nicer sounding than the EMGs. Emgs are too sterile IMO.

If you want a mid range punchy, beefy low end, ballsack hanging inches from the floor kind of metal sound, put an SD Invader in that things bridge and never look back.
1992 Gibson Explorer (Seymour Duncan '59 neck, Custom Custom bridge)
Jackson King V Professional Std. (Seymour Duncan Invaders)
Mesa/Boogie Nomad 55
Mesa/Boogie 412 Recto. O/S Cabinet
Boss ME-50
MXR 10-Band EQ

Invader is a bit dodgy... Something like 59 neck custom bridge should do

I remember my first erection. I went to my dad and was like "Do I have Aids???". I seriously thought there was something wrong with me.
