Everytime I burn a cd on Windows media player, it says there's an error half way through, and sometimes the cd will have the first half of the songs on it, but usually it just comes out blank.

Does anybody else have this problem? Any suggestions?

Yeah I have that too, it does the same thing basically.

I would think it's my computer itself, but it's always worked fine until Vista.

Vista is a problem in itself, honestly, use XP until a good SP of vista comes out, to many bugs right now, u can maybe dual boot them, or just format your hd and use xp explusively

Yeah I don't much care for Vista, but my dad's usually the one who installs that kind of stuff. He lost XP so I'm stuck with it. :/

slow down your burn speed. it'll take longer but it's more reliable.

My girlfriend jsut got Vista.

It's given us nothing but problems. Something changed her iTunes registry so that she couldn't burn CDs from it, and then the driver for the DVD/CD-R was completely destroyed.
