Thanks for the advice. I'm going to put it, along with your other advice, into a book, the pages of which I will then use to wipe my ass.

Pop-punk's where it's at. I'd listen to:

A New Found Glory
Anberlin
Brand New
Cartel
Cursive
Cute Is What We Aim For
Emery
Enter Shikari
Farewell
Forever The Sickest Kids
hellogoodbye
Jimmy Eat World
Mae
Making April
The Matches
mewithoutYOU
Motion City Soundtrack
My Awesome Compilation
Paramore
TheRiverclub
The Rocket Summer
Saosin
Saves The Day
Say Anything
Sherwood
UnderOATH

The thing with pop-punk these days is that it's more of an "umbrella genre" in my opinion: something that's used to describe bands within a certain scene, if that makes sense? aka, bands you'd talk about in pp&e

enter shikari is hardcore. not pop punk.

You could say the same about underOATH, I was just saying that they'd full under the pp&e umbrella. Dunno what my actual point is though, tbh. Just felt like sticking up for pop-punk

Out of that list, Avril probably. Not from her new album, i've heard it is truely terrible.

Are paramore classed pop-punk. If yes then I'd pick them. Or blink 182.

Definitly Green Day from that list because they have some awesome songs.

Edit: And Enter Shikari sounds like a guy with a throat infection dialing someone on a phone

No its cause they suck IMO there the worst band on the popular music scene. I feel that they being shame to the country I live in(Canada). Anyway out of that list Greenday cause they used to be good

The Buzzcocks

They supported a band one of my old school teachers was in way back in the 70s. And yeah, I'd listen to them, beats any of the new punk-rock stuff.

i guess The Offspring could be condsidered pop-punk kinda

Nice umbrella theory

I used to listen to Brand New and stuff like that quite a lot. Now not so much, but yeah I would listen to it if I had to.
I'm not really fussy when it comes to music as long as people don't say their music is any better than any one else's, then i'm fine with it.

From that list, Green Day is the obvious choice.

I'd probably listen to Blink-182 though given the opportunity.
