So I finished it today. Started in late May I believe.

Specs...
Neck:

Maple
Rosewood Fretboard
Gotoh Kluson Vintage Style Tuners
Handcrafted Bone Nut
Golden vintage aged look

I tried to go very vintage on the neck. I even painted the truss rod slot black like the old teles

Body:

Basswood
Modern 6 saddle bridge
String through and stop-tail
Vintage Style 3 ply Pick guard
Schaller Straplocks

Electronics:

Everything shielded (this thing is noiseless!)
Seymour Duncan Vintage Neck
Seymour Duncan Vintage Hot Bridge
Standard tone and volume pots
Push/pull tone pot for phasing
Treble Bleed Mod
SPDT Switch for toggle between different caps for the tone pot. This really cool, I can get a really clear tele twang tone and then a more bassy tone similar to a strat's tone.

So a very vintage style guitar but with some modern twists. Great fun to play, plays really well. My only complaint is the frets are a bit small.

anyways enough blabbering I know what you guys really want

PICS!!!

Wow, damn good job. You make me want to build my own. About how much did it cost in you in all to build and finish.

Have you ever done this before? It's freakin' sweet! Earlier today, I was bored as hell just laying on my bed. I had an erection, so I started to use my penis as a gear stick and I was pretending I was driving. Has anyone else here ever tired this?

Ya thats a MG15.

Don't worry though it was just my first amp. I still have it kicking around, I never bothered selling it. I don't play through it. I have a bigger nicer amp to the left of the MG that is out of the pic

cool. Ony thing I would have done different is put a black cover on the switch instead of white to match the bridge pup, and put MY name on the headstock. good job.

have any pics from when you were building it?

^yeah, actually now that I look at it from different pictures, the white dosn't look out of place any more than black would... It was just one of the pictures made it look a different white than the pickguard, and then I saw the black pickup in the same picture and was like "hey, it would look good in black", and now I'm starting to ramble, so I'll just stop.

Anyway, great looking guitar, very nice build

2. Is a White 2003 Mexican Std. Fender Telecaster with a Tortoise Shell Pickguard (Tortoise Shell looks like Red/Black/White Marble) & a few other little mods...

Nice simple Tele man, love it. Where did you get the neck and body? Or did you actualy build them yourself from a slab of wood?

Nice colour too, it's got a VERY late-sixties-early-seventies vibe, I dig it.

Very nice! How do you like the SD combo? Initially, I was thinking that the bridge might overwhelm the neck, but I figured a tone chaser wouldn't let that happen.

I originally thought that too. The neck is smooth and vintagey. A very classic tele neck sound. The bridge is considerable hotter, not overwhelming. Its full of twang. I like the combo.

The headstock says Moircaster, my last name.

How did you do the phasing and knobs for the pickups?
