So I really like the way tele's sound, but I prefer everything else about the strat. Is it possible to take the pups out of a tele and put them in a strat? Would that make it sound like one, or at least close. Or do I just have to deal with the single cut and get a tele.

well i dont know what you could do really... the teles signature sound comes from its bridge... but the strat's trem sort of ruins the possiblity of that...

He likes the Teles sound, not the strats.

Best you could prolly do is get a hardtail strat, take the pickgaurd off and put in tele guts, and maybe somehow rig a telecaster bridge onto it (prolly gonna have to cut the pickgaurd).

I just don't like the single cut it all.

I love the look of tele's. But they're single cut

then wtf?

I thought teles looked ugly until I rested my hands on the fret board, then we loved each other for the rest of time.

Good for you. Have a cookie.

But really... there's no cookie. And if there was, you wouldn't get one.
