I was in 4 record shops on Friday and was absolutely disgusted. All of the blues sections were basically gone. They had a few best of albums and that was about it. I get most of my stuff online through amazon, but it's sad to see so little blues in record stores. There is a good 2nd hand shop in town that has good stuff, but it gets picked over quickly....I guess I'm trying to say is, please keep playing the blues everyone!! If you record, record and get it out there. People need to hear this music.

No one listens to blues much anymore. The people that do still listen a lot usually already have tons of blues albums. Don't get me wrong, I listen to tons of blues but people will never get into it as much they used to no matter how hard you try.

Maybe you should just eliminate the idea of being a LEAD guitarist or a RHYTHM guitarist and just come to terms with being a guitarist.
