I'm a little disappointed today after a guitar shop refused to let me trade in my guitar. Apparently, there's a barely-visible crack on the neck. You can only really notice it when you feel the neck, but it's not very deep.

The neck is made of rock maple.

How would I make it so that the crack would be unnoticable? I don't have any power tools around me.

Thanks in Advance.
Take some clear coat, spray it into a dixie cup and use a toothpick, or even an eye dropper, to drop some clear into the crack. Let it dry, and then sand it smooth.
