I need some opinions on this. I just bought a vintage Ibanez Super 80's "Flying Fingers" pickup to put in my gold top Artist. The pickup I bought has a gold cover on it. I don't want to go tearing the cover off since it is a vintage pickup. I was going to put it in and just live with the one gold pickup with all the other hardware in chrome, but now I thinking about going all gold. Will this look bad on a gold top? Anyone have any pictures of a gold/gold guitar?

I'd put in the pickup, but I would NOT go all gold....I think that would look tacky, but that's only my opinion...

Gold headstock hardware and black body hardware (specially if the headstock is black).

Get a gold truss rod cover too!

^ Good idea.
Go with the gold pickups, black plastic hardware, gold trussrod cover, and a brass nut.

^ Let's not forget that painting over a goldtop is the biggest crime against nature.
