I imagine it could. I don't know a lot about wiring and electronics, but it seems obvious enough. The thing is, though, it wouldn't work well for Tom Morello type stuff. Those buttons arent real easy to use rapidly with your hands.

Yes, I think so.

But it's not worth it. Get something easier to engage/disengage.

good luck with that! if the world have a nuclear war 3 things would survive; cockroaches, twinkies, and boss pedals

youre better off buying a push to make/push to break switch. cos that one there is either on or off, whereas the ones i said are always on/off unless you press them. far more useful. plus theyre smaller

^^thats called momentary on or off, just so ya know.

dont get that switch. ive got a handful of 3pdt's like that for stompboxes and theyre made for stomping with feet, not hands.

go to radioshack if you can and get a momentary off/open. the ones i bought came in a pack of 4, 2 on/closed 2 off/open. cheap too, iirc.

a normal spst, spdt, or dpdt will work, also. these will just be on/closed or off/open.

momentary's are the way to go.

Yeah, that'll work- but look at the price. It's much easier to use an SPST switch, which is a lot cheaper. You could use this: http://www.smallbearelec.com/Detail.bok?no=27 which is a momentary SPDT- it's a pushbutton style of thing, and way cheaper. Or this: http://www.smallbearelec.com/Detail.bok?no=24 for a cheaper stomp-switch alternative.

where could i get something along the lines of a buckethead push kill switch thats rapid and easy to engage and disengage?
#9
ill have to check these things out, i assume any local radioshack will have a multiple selection of switches and what not?
#10
^ sure. RadioShack should have plenty of choices. If you see something labeled as "soft touch" it will be worth considering. The switch cokeisbetter linked to looks good. I've heard good reports on these too:

Remember you want momentary contact and if it's SPST it must be normally open. If it's SPDT you can wire it to act the same way.
