I have had the Digitech Death Metal pedal for about a year now and I'm starting to get slightly bored of the tone it puts out. Does anybody know anything that I can do to it to in order to get a better sound out of it?

and if it helps, I usually use it for speed/black/death metal and the guitars I use it with I have one tuned to drop C and one tuned to either standard B or standard C. and if you need pics of the circuit board just let me know.

Thanks!

only like switch the color of the LED lol.

u need to be a freaking machine to change many of those components. theres some caps u can take on/off, but im not sure what they would do.

Yep, I opened up a broken Hot Head I had laying around the other day and realized it was unmoddable. So i just pulled the jacks and LED and kept the case and threw the rest away.

I prolly would of light the old board on fire too.... but that's just me. If it isn't usable might as well be used in pyrotechnics >: )

So something to keep in mind for next time i buy a pedal is not to buy digitech, eh?
I'll probably end up modding whatever it is i do buy anyways.
