and i need some help

i've got a perfect intro

with the chords B, D, E

if i got those wrong here they are (from left to right)

x2444x
x4665x
x7999x
x9987x

I realize the last chord is a B also but they sound different

what chords could I use for a progression?

this is hendrixy song "little wing" or soemthing like Under the bridge by RHCP
And we will weave in and out of sanity unnoticed
Swirling in blissfully restless visions of all our bleary progress
Glowing in radiant madness

Hmm well there are loaads of diff. things you could do with that - it depends what you want it to sound like. Being an artist and a musician is about being creative and original, and that means not asking people how to write your own songs :P because after all music is only about expressing your feelings. You can't ask people to do that for you because they don't know :P

But anyways, for the second chord you listed which you said above that was D major, you wrote it as C# minor, which starts on the 4th fret. But what I was wondering is whether you meant the top chords you listed (B, D, E) or the one's listed below it: B, C#m, E
Well I'd guess the first one since it sounds more Hendrix'y and Red hot chili peppery :P

It's a nice chord progression, and if I were to make a song right now with that, I would probably use that further into the song than just the intro, but just change it around a bit using broken chords/arpeggios, and then something different for the bridge.

well, i've gtg, i will come up with some things if i have the time soon,
bye
