I need to build a stage for an up and comming party I'm hosting in my backyard, the dilema is..well maybe I should say delimas are:

1. I can't find any decent plans to base mine on

2. I'm not sure how I could make it so I could pack it up and store it in the garage for my next party and yet be big enough to fit a large band and if that's not possible then I need something really simple that could be put together quickly.

3. It needs to be practical. Over three feet high. I was thinking about making three 1 foot high layers and stacking them so they could be easily dissasembled and stored somewhere but I'm not sure how that'll work out O.o

I'm no master at carpentry, not by a long shot, but I think I know two or three people who could help me put it together.

yay kudos!

I've been googling for two days now and found nothing. I have an idea of what to do, and I've made plans before but I really don't wanna buy all that sh*t then start and then realized that I really messed something up

Use screws to assemble it.

depending on how you want it, u'll need 4x4s as the support posts. and 2x8 and the cross support for the actual decking.
ok ok scratch that.

look at how that platform there is built. do that. but then screw 4x4 posts in each corner and some in the middle. now seriously this is important. 3/4 plywood as your flooring, otherwise everything will come crashing down.

now to make assembly easy and this thing safer and strong use hanger brakets anywhere and everywhere.

its probably gonna be expensive and a lot of work but good luck.
