Hi i'm hosting a polish person for my school's exchange, I dont speak any polish and have only been given his name and the fact that he plays guitar!

The only problem is I don't know how to pronounce his name.
It is Wojciech Urbancyzk.
Anyone know how to say that (if you do type it out phoenetically.)

Thanks

She had her period.

I dont think anyone outside Eastern Europe will know the answer to that. Im sure there will be some people. If i took a guess, id just say it as it looks. which is a mouthful to say the least.

Have a guitar duel with him. If you win, call him Wohwoh. If you lose call him Ciecie

Peja is brilliant, well done for hearing him (assuming you're not from Poland)

You´re showing Polish music in the shameful version
Check this out, real Polish music:

Normalsi are the ****, not a patch on Coma though.

Pidzama Porno and Happysad are quite good as well.

Voycheck is right, my favourite name for people trying to say in Polish though, is Łucja (Woot-ze-ay)

Well, no... I don´t want my country to be associated with such people.

These bands are great, too. What a pity so few people here understand polish...

If so, then call him VOYTECK, this is the friendlier version of "Voycheh".
Ahhh, I know, why do we, Polish people, always have to have hundreds of names?

Well, unless this man is in the shoe polishing business, I think it'd be better if you'll call him 'Pole'.

But only if you ride the tide
And balanced on the biggest wave
You race toward an early grave.

Well i've not got a clue what he's singing about but it sounds good to me, not speaking any Polish at all apart from being able to say 'good morning, dupek'. Gotta have priorities, right?

Where is here for you?
