im looking to learn a rush song nearly as hard as YYZ to try to improve my playing as im working on YYZ at the moment.

Or if you can think of any other songs, but i would prefer rush.

Digital Man is kinda hard. Freewill is also good

DUDE, same problem, just finished YYZ and now I can't think of anything new to learn, I did Spirit of Radio, it's relatively easy, but the one part at the begining takes some work because it's pretty fast.
I've got a bike you can ride it if you like

Check out a band called Yes.
Try the songs:
Heart Of The Sunrise
Roundabout
Siberian Khatru
For long you live and high you fly
But only if you ride the tide
And balanced on the biggest wave
You race toward an early grave.

The verse for YYZ did give me some problems, keep practicing and it'll just come to you, make sure you get those killer fills down too. Just sorta half-ass your way through and you'll eventually get the verse.

the fills i found easy actually and the chorus like line

Ooh, my favorite Rush song! The whiny high pitched vocals actually go together with the song, and it's not so progressive-ish (I'm not into progressive music that much). And it's really catchy!

good suggestions, and yeah i can play tom sawyer.... and used to be able to play freewill cant be bothered to re-learn.

yeah sure 12 pages of random bars with no particular pattern.

all along the watchtower is like that two, there isnt 2 bars in the whole song that are the same apart from the intro

EDIT: Jimi's version of course, since he did record the bass part.
