i just bought a new marshall vintage modern on friday and i think it might already have a problem. every once in a while the volume will cut out (i guess that would be the right word) and it will get really quiet. i tried different guitars and cords, and it still does it, does anyone know why its doing this? any help will be appriciated

Well im not sure about speaker cables personally, Id visit a local music store see what they can suggest. I cant think of anything else that could be causing this problem cept maybe something internal. Well as you bought it so recently you'll be entitled to a refund. Therefore see what you can do and if nothing works take it back to the shop.
