Ya hetfield is a god when it comes to singing and playing, he's very talented, as a matter of fact I have the role of doing what he does, singing over songs like that Check out my seek and destroy cover if your interested http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lkiK3w0i68w

It has vocals and iM playing at the same time, But ya my band does lamb of god type of stuff with slayer / metallica / pantera mixed in so I have to sing over complicated riffs as well.. but its all good =D

But yes if you can pull it off than it's definately something to do if not Just work at it =D

Alexi never solos while singing live.

Also ts, none of those bands are black metal

Acoualy Dethklok is a black metal band,COB is a black and thrash mix blought on by his vocals.

but also what that dude ment was that alexi can do melodys while singing which most are solo worthy.and besides solo means 1.so technechly your right because no one can solo and sing.Cuase thats not a solo.
