Foo Fighters - The Pretender reminds me of something. Just after the chorus, and whilst he's singing "I'm the voice inside your head" there's a really familiar guitar riff.

That song sounds just like that Panic At The Disco Song. I forget what it's called.

But that's what you're thinking of.

a7x rips a bunch of iffs from metallica and pantera. and all there solos r ripped from slash. its ok to be like them and sound like them but i mean some of the stuff is just note for note which really annoys me sometimes cause they could have changed at least like one note lol.

Avenged Sevenfold steal a ton of riffs I think.

I dunno about that, but many of their songs are in the key of D minor...So they all really sound similar.
Avenged Sevenfold steals riffs from themselves.

^ to Texas If he says those aren't metal just go visit the metal forum and look at the bands frequented in there and you'll probably know what he's talking about.

For some reason I think that Motorbreath - Metallica and FFF/Bullprick - Megadeth use the same sound for the main riff. I can't quite put my finger on it but when i heard FFF I was like you know what that sounds like Motorbreath so yeah.

im not trashing metal, i just said some metal songs sound the same. just like every genre has songs that sound the same. but to me, im my opinion, metal has more of a tendecy to sound the same. i still do like metal, and i still listen to it from time to time, just thats my opinion. sry if u dont like it

that's because they're so awesome, you're blinded by it
anyway, the spirit of radio solo reminds me a lot of the solo from Know Your Enemy by RATM
also, Raging River of Fear by Captain Beyond sounds a lot like Voodoo Child.
