I've been trying to leanr some solo's and this pattern keeps popping up and i'm not sure how to play it.

|-10p8----10p8----10p8-------------l
--------8---------8---------8---------
-----------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------

I tryed barring the 8th fret except then the note on the 5th string just kept going. So whats the correct way to play something like this ?

i think the easiest way to play it is like this:

|-10p8----10p8----10p8-------------l
--------8---------8---------8---------
-----------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------
nah, but i think that you should keeping barring them, but tild your finger while they're on the string, i have the same problem while playing canon rock, so you fingers stay on teh strings to mute it after it loses contact with the fret.

its a triplet based pattern but on the first two strings not the fifth string. Just do a mini barre where you bar the first and second string with your index finger. For me I fret the tenth fret with my ring finger and pulloff to the C at the 8th fret first string. I'd recommend a downstroke on the E string and an upstroke on the B after the pulloff. Hope this helps.
