hey guys im doing a presentation on tudor history and was wondering what music would sort of go with it, modern music would be preferable but i have no beef with classical stuff of the time
Sting recently recorded an album of music by John Dowland, a famous English musician of the Tudor era. See if you can find that. I think it's called Songs From the Labyrinth.
Death to Ovation haters!
Circulus. Awesome tudor-esque acid folk. Their first album, A Lick on an Envelope Yet to be Sent should be perfect for what you want.
La mayyitan ma qadirun yatabaqqa sarmadi
Fa idha yaji' al-shudhdhadh fa-l-maut qad yantahi

Raptoral judgement upon all our sins
This placid island of ignorance
