Well, I'm doing pretty good in this world of music without peace so far..

So lets just keep it this way before we regret any of our choices, kay? ^.^
#5

No. Everybody dies. And one day, given that your relationship doesn't crash and burn like so many do, one of you will end up deep in sorrow while watching the other one die.

a world wihout peace isn't so bad, I'll stick with the without peace music world.
Oh noes!
#7
I would rather have peace over music. Anyone who wants music over peace is clearly not aware of what war has done to this earth.
High as tits

ya i thought this mite be a landslide but seriously i dont think music would matter if there was no war

^Amen.

The fact that somebody could say music over peace saddens me.

Yeah, those differing opinions sure are killers...
#11
World with music without peace... I guess. Kinda hard to say without sounding incredibly selfish. Music's so crucial to well... everything.

Actually no. Peace first. But man I'd miss the music.

I just don't see how anybody could pick music over complete peace.

I love music just as much as you guys, I love playing it, listening to it, writing it, but if I had the power to choose between the two, it'd be an easy answer.

Doesn't matter anyway, it's not as if one day all of the world leaders are gonna unite and say "Ok, we'll stop our wars and everybody can live in peace BUT ... no music."

well i do believe that you cannot just not have music. its everywhere, otherwise everything would be monotone and have no rhythm.

and how exciting would the world be then?
pay me the same amount and ill give you better head than an amp ever could.

You know this reminds me a LOT, of a movie called Equilibrium. Anyone seen it? It's loosely based off of Farenheight 451. Basically, the world is destroyed (not completely of course) by nuclear war and so after that the governments unite and set up a regime to control people's emotions. Music, art, everything that could lead to heightened emotions (and thus war), are outlawed.

If it's THAT world of peace, I'll take music any day.

this is one a few the few times I will respect someone else's opinion

I really don't care for these types of questions. They often branch into so many factors that are overlooked (mainly because it would take a great deal of time to try and figure out all the factors).

Hard to say. It's peaceful where I live, but I hate it. But I guess I'd sacrifice my own personal choice of lifestyle and opt for a world of peace without music. It'd end a lot of suffering.
#23
I think peace is the center of most music, therefore we do not need to choose music over peace or peace over music. Without peace we would not have music and without music we would not have peace.

Uh...it sounds nice, but there's not a whole lot of logic to back it up. There could easily be music without peace, and there could easily be peace without music. In fact, both occur on a daily basis.

Yeah...I gotta side with yawn on this one, too.

complete peace is scary because at that state people will start flipping out over small things and just get rid of them to keep the peace. I say music, because a world with complete peace is not in mans nature, im not saying i would want a world with war, but complete and utter peace is just to good to be true, I doubt it will ever happen, im mostly just theorizing what people would do if anyone caused a problem in that kind of society.

Dodging? Pansy. We don't dodge where i come from.

As for the pain factor, just get used to the pain. Punch various objects such as walls, trees, floors, your mother, rocks, table etc. Just generally anything hard.

I should have said In my opinion.. I know, my bad.

Most of my favourite music is written about peace, peace between people, friendships. All of it's happy, and involves peace. Although music would exist without peace, my favourite music might not.

It's just my personal opinion.
