my guitar has active emg's in it I was wondering if it was possible to swap these with open coil humbuckers (prs pups)?

Yep. You'll still have the battery compartment in your guitar, though. And you'll need to change the volume and tone pots, I think

Sure you can but you'll have to change the pots too. EMGs uses 25k pots so you'll need 500k pots for the passive buckers.

Yes but it won't be as simple as just taking out the EMGs and putting the new pups in: you'll need to get new volume and maybe new tone pots and you'll have to take out the battery arrangement.
