I am a big RHCP fan, and I was listening to "Pretty Little Ditty" from Mother's Milk (1989) the other day, and noticed something familiar. At two parts of the song, it sounds exactly like the song "Butterfly" by Crazy Town. However, "Butterfly" came out in the 2000's? So is it just me or did Crazy Town rip off of the Chili Peppers for their hit single? Or is there a slight altercation that I don't notice to the song to differentiate the two? Or was this brought out to the public already and I'm just behind the times? lol. Thanks.

No they didn't rip them off. Ye it is the same riff. Red Hot Chili Peppers actually played on the track
