Do you know any good alternate picking practices?
I havent done it in awhile so im a little rusty.

do the spider exercise

i need sum help,
I cant play it fast for sum reason i guess because i didnt do them for so long,
is there any way to inprove my speed fast?

If you try and play fast, you won't. Speed comes to you with time. These guys who shred, they don'e try and play fast, it just happens because they have a lot of experience. Obviously you need practice to do it. So do those exercises to a metronome. You'll se a difference

This is what I thought the spider was. You make sure you hold down every finger until the next, this will help your coordination and control.

As for the speed question. Time and practice. Remember start off slow on the metronome and slowly build up the speed. There is a thing called the 21 day guide to speed in the Musician Talk FAQ. Go read it.

scales, for two reasons, practising alternate picking but also, you're learning them! Practise with the standard scale patterns, all five of them and then move onto the 3 fret per strings scales.
