Well.. The thing is, I need a new guitar to keep in drop C constantly. I want one with a pretty heavy sound and a floyd on it. My price range is around £300.
Any ideas?

Search bar?

You just want a guitar with a mahogany body, and a locking trem. Look at ESP Ltds and Ibanez RGs.

I played a jackson rr3 in a shop and I wasnt impressed.. it was out of tune and the floyd sort of faded when i depressed it. But thanks anyway

If you'r trying a guitar and it's out of tune, ask one of the shop assitants to tune it for you. Every guitar sounds crap when out of tune.

Ibanez are a good make with floyds aswell...

Thanks ive looked at esps and tried out an RG thats the one i have in mind.

Don't bother with an RG, for £300 you won't get a very good trem on one of those, try this: http://www.guitarampkeyboard.com/en/71830

Ibanez S320: Mahogany body and the ZR trem, which is like an FR only better.
R.I.P. My Signature. Lost to us in the great Signature Massacre of 2014.
