and I think dude, just play, but know that I'm faced with this, its actually a bit terrifying.
I'm going to play guitar for a girl under the stars saturday night and I don't have any idea what to play. I'll probably just improv on some hendrix ballads or something but I don't want anything to get old.

What songs should I play? I really don't want to play "Hey There Delilah" or anything like that.

I'm going to learn some The Fray songs, but I really want something just- soulful and magical.

what is hendrixs best ballad? I know alot of his songs but I haven't heard all of them and I know there are some amazing less popular ballads

any recommendations?

If you are rowing down the road in your canoe and your wagon wheel falls off. How many pancakes does it take to make a doghouse?

Green, because a vest has no sleeves.

Can't we all just get a bong?

I would play Goo Goo Dolls, but all of their songs are in alt. tunings

I want something that captures the atmosphere of Konstantine by Something Corporate- but thats mostly piano and doesn't really do much on guitar.

I would play wonderful tonight but it seems just like regular chords and I dont sing so.. lol

why do people like you always have to make sure no one thinks you are a fan? and people say pop punk bands only care about image.....

end argument. sorry, i just had to say something. im done now.

Edit: You want to play for a girl when you cant sing??!!?!?!?! instant fail. sorry man. get a voice or find something else to do for her.

Wonderful Tonight - Eric

+1

Patience or Don't Cry by GNR aren't bad choices either.
Swing Life Away by Rise Against is good too, and its easy.
Glycerine by Bush is really good too, but its not really a ballad or acoustic, although it could be done on an acoustic.

TBS are probably the best band of their genre- they're amazing

well I can't sing but I probably will anyways- add a bit of humor for a second. But I'm a musician not a singer- though I will become one eventually

I was just stating a fact, you don't have to attack me. I actually quite like TBS's music, they're just not a band I'd listen to in my spare time.

Also, what do you mean, "People like me"?

Singers are still musicians, their instrument is the voice.
Looking for a new sig!
